If the software cannot find any cost data, then either the cost data was wrongly inputted in the supermarket or the supermarket products are not linked with the items in the main database.
Please check the following things:
- Make sure you have cleared the cost data of the main database, otherwise the software will use it instead of the supermarket cost data.
- Check that the Price column in the supermarket contains a price. It should be just a number (for example: 5.40).
- Check that the DB Item column in the supermarket contains the name of a grocery item. If it doesn't, edit the supermarket, click on the pull-down menu in the DB Item column and link the product with a grocery item.
- For packaged products that are sold with a fixed size, check that you have input a product size in the Size column that is understandable by the software, for example "15 oz", instead of "1 pack", as the software will not know the weight of a pack. Alternatively, you can write "1 (15 oz) pack" in the size column.
- For products that are sold with a variable size, for example for goods that are sold by weight or by volume, leave the size empty and input the corresponding unit in the "Selling price" field (for example: lb). If you input a volume unit in this field, makes sure in the nutrition editor that the software knows how to convert between volume and weight for this item.
