If your Java installation is faulty, you should first uninstall Java using this tool:
http://singularlabs.com/software/javara/
After that, reinstall it manually from scratch from
http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp
Please contact us if you still have problems starting the software after uninstalling and reinstalling Java manually.
