Shop'NCook Pro uses by default the cost data in the main database, if any, otherwise it takes the best values it can find in the supermarkets.
To force Shop'NCook Pro to use the supermarket data, you should clear the cost data of the main database. You can do it in the following way:
- Select "Export Cost Database" in the Costing menu to have a backup of your cost data.
- Select "Clear Cost Database" in the Costing menu.
Shop'NCook will then use the most advantageous prices from the supermarkets.
If you want the software to use the cost data of a specific supermarket, select "Update Cost from Supermarket". This will overwrite your current cost data in the main database with the cost information of the selected supermarket.

When I do this it still does not pull from the supermarkets. Also updating from the supermarket only works if your items are already linked to the main database right?
Yes, the products of your supermarket must be linked with the main database in order for the software to use them in the cost calculations.
