"I have been using Shop'NCook Menu 3.4 for years, and I could not do a dinner party or holiday weekend without it. I keep the program and my file of hundreds of recipes on a hard drive, but I can only access Shop'NCook on my oldest computers because of Java updates (or at least that is what I think). I would like to buy the latest version of the software, but want to be sure that I can bring my recipe collection into the new program. Please advise."
Answer:
You can import data from Shop'NCook 3.4 to Shop'NCook 4.0 by the procedure described in the following page.
Since you are importing from another computer, you should first copy the installation folder Shop'NCook Menu 3.4 or Shop'NCook Pro 3.4 to a USB stick and plug it in to the new computer before running the latest version of Shop'NCook on the new computer. You can find the installation folder in folder Program Files on Windows or in folder Applications on Mac OS X.
Note that you can also transfer from Windows to Mac or the other way around.
You can access your upgrade options at the following page,
