The first time you run Shop'NCook, you are asked at the end of the setup wizard if you want to import your data from another installation. Select to import and browse to the installation folder of version 3.4. The installation folder is by default in folder Program Files on Windows or folder Applications on Mac OS X. Your data (recipes, database of grocery items, nutritional data, etc.) will be imported into the new version.
If you have already run the setup wizard in the new version of Shop'NCook and have selected the default installation instead of importing your data, you can reinitiate the import procedure in the following way:
- Exit Shop'NCook if it is running.
- Throw to the trash the newly created data folder for Shop'NCook. It is a folder named "Shop'NCook Pro", "Shop'NCook Menu", "Shop'NCook Home" or "Shop'NCook Reader", depending on your edition, and is by default in your Documents folder. Note: you should obviously not throw away this folder if you have already added recipes to the new software! Instead, export first the recipes you have added to Shop'NCook Exchange format (*.SCX) in order to import them back into the software after completing the import procedure of your old data.
- Start the software. It will show you again the setup dialog. In the last screen of the dialog, make sure to select to import your data from another installation.

This is not helping - I throw away the file you instructed above - and when the new version asks to import from the old version - it does not find the "files/data" - where is this data? HELP.
